“Far From The Sea” by Theatre Absolute

‘Far From The Sea’ is a witty and darkly humorous play about power, place, and the industry of war, told through the eyes of three seperate eras of people. It looks at the journey Europe has taken over the past 100 years. This is a brand new piece of work from the Coventry-based, multi award winning theatre company Theatre Absolute.

Told through the eyes of a contemporary Polish woman, an affluent early 90’s family, and a bombastic Alderman of a 1950’s local authority, ‘Far From The Sea’ is a witty and darkly humorous play about power, place, and the industry of war.

Written by Steve Waters, this new play is directed by Chris O’Connell and produced by the multi award winning Theatre Absolute.
