Heartfelt, poetic and sombre: Arran Houston writes and sings carefully crafted songs about love, life and death. He plays and writes 50s-70s style country, blues, folk, indie, and some Japanese tunes. His unique vocals compliment the words of his songs. Coming from Birmingham and recently moved back from Japan, he’s glad to be part of the local music scene.
He is supported by two other fantastic musicians who perform some beautifully crafted folk songs:
Andy, an amazing song writer, tells stories through his poetic lyrics that seem to bleed from the heart.
Ellie has a gorgeous voice and serene quality to her songs “The first time I heard her voice, I held my breath and listened with all I had”.
