The Old Joint Stock Theatre is part of a Grade II listed building situated right in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre. The venue consists of a 100 seat studio theatre hosting a variety of productions all year round and beautiful Victorian-style function rooms. The ground floor is home to The Old Joint Stock pub which is extremely popular, serving food & hosting music nights.

The Old Joint Stock Theatre is part of a Grade II listed building situated opposite Birmingham’s beautiful St Philip’s Cathedral, and right in the heart of Birmingham’s city centre. This grand building is home to a 100 seat fully equipped studio theatre and is perfect for very intimate performances. The Old Joint Stock Theatre has a variety of productions all year round, with local and visiting companies performing everything from new writing to full length musicals, and from stand up to belly dance! The studio theatre is fully equipped with professional sound and lighting equipment, a backstage area and green room facilities.
The theatre is also available for daytime rehearsal space which can add a few hours to your get-in time for a performance.
The Old Joint Stock also has a 50 seat Function Room on the second floor. Although it has no rig or installed sound equipment, the space is ideal for shows and performances with minimal tech, due to the Victorian décor of the room. For further information on the Function Room please contact us.
