Birmingham Fest 2022 is over and was an absolute joy, with an eclectic mix of wonderful shows and fantastic performances.
It’s therefore been difficult to pick out some award winners but we’ve done it and here goes!
2022 FESTIVAL WINNERS:
*BEST SHOW – “VILLAGE WOOING” (SHAW2020).
*BEST PERFORMANCE – MARYANN O’BRIEN (“VILLAGE WOOING”).
*BEST NEW PIECE – “EDEN” (GREGORY STEWART).
*BEST ADAPTATION – “OPHELIA” (NEREIDS THEATRE COMPANY).
*BEST NEWCOMER – JANELLE THOMPSON (“BESSIE AT MIDNIGHT, ALONE”).
Huge congratulations to them and everyone else that took part that made the festival so great.
