Birmingham Fest 2024 is over and was as ever an absolute joy, with a wonderful range of shows and fantastic performances.
It’s therefore been difficult to pick out some award winners but we’ve done it and here goes!
*BEST SHOW – “AN IMPROVISED MURDER” (FOGHORN UNSCRIPTED).
*BEST PERFORMANCE – AMALIA ESTRADAS ( FOR “MIC TEST LIVE”).
*BEST NEW PIECE – “THE TRYING ROOMS” (RED PATCH PRODUCTIONS).
*BEST ADAPTATION – “THE UNRAVELLING” (THE REKINDLED ENSEMBLE).
*BEST NEWCOMER – JOANNA BENTLEY (FOR “FINE LINE” – GREYSPACE THEATRE).
*SPECIAL RECOGNITION AWARD – TABITHA LAMB (FOR “A MIDSUMMER NIGHT’S DREAM” – THE SOUTH DEVON PLAYERS)
