The Crescent is a purpose built theatre in the fantastic Bridleyplace development of the city. The Crescent is one of Birmingham’s oldest theatre companies, now operating from its third home – a purpose built theatre in the fantastic Bridleyplace development of the city. Predominantly a membership theatre which has in excess of 250 actors, technicians, set designers, etc. it stages upwards of fifteen productions a year. The venue has a 300+ seat main house, a 100+ seat studio theatre, rehearsal & function rooms and a spacious bar – which can also be used for performances as it has a small stage. The theatre also has an extensive costume hire department.

The Crescent is a founder member of The Little Theatre Guild of Great Britain.

For Birmingham Fest The Crescent offers a 40 seat space called The Underground.
