I Am Blackbird

A lyrical storytelling experience that celebrates the misadventures of finding love and ultimately finding freedom.

The show is a one woman live storytelling and performance poetry show.

‘I am Blackbird’ shares the true-life tales and misadventures of a stubborn 13 year old girl, who set off on a mission to find love!

Paying homage to the greats (aka – the parents, the men, and Casablanca!) join us on her journey as we celebrate the divine discontent of love, loss and ridiculously mystical adventures.

The show tackles sensitive issues with heart and humour and hopes to remind us that if we have faith, live for the moment, and learn to love and accept ourselves for all our glorious mess ups – we may just find more than we were looking for.
