Laugh-Able consisted of a series of free comedy workshops for participants with physical disabilities. This performance is the culmination. As well as providing participants with comedy skills, the workshops focussed on addressing the many issues they face in life. With a few laughs along the way! |

Expect routines that explode myths, break barriers and challenge the audience, all within a stand up debut! “Laugh-Able” is a hilarious evening of stand up comedy from a variety of new and established comedians with physical disabilities.
The project ‘Laugh-Able: Enabling the Disabled’ worked with adults with physical disabilities in teaching the basics of stand up comedy. The participants learned a range of comedy skills that also developed individuals communication, confidence and working as part of a team.
This event provides the opportunity for the participants to showcase the material they have worked on over the life of the project (alongside established disabled comedians strutting their stuff too) and perhaps throw a few ad-libs in as well!
