Set in a theatre broom cupboard, next to the building's only toilet, Destination: 'Old Hag' draws on the lives of the Ladies of the Chorus and their many years in the world of opera. The story of George Lempriere, the famous Balloonist or “aeronaut” who lived in Handsworth, Birmingham. He was renowned for his shows from the 1880s to the 1920s which featured "The Parachute Queens". These daring young women ascended the skies sitting on a trapeze hanging from below the balloon from heights of over 5000 feet.
