Always wondered what being an actor must be like? What do they do? Come and find out on this very popular workshop for beginners.
This taster workshop caters for complete beginners (age 16 to 106!) & the terrified! So if you have always wanted to have a go but feel a bit nervous about trying acting workshops – this is the workshop for you, whether you have a mind to do it professionally, as a hobby or just as a social activity.
No one will be put on the spot and the emphasis will be working in groups and as an ensemble. Come and have a go and find out how the professionals do it!
This course is taught by Tracey Street – a professionally trained actor/director & fully qualified teacher/trainer of actors & directors. she has been training actors for 18 years at drama schools, theatres & colleges and works nationally & internationally as a theatre director. She has recently directed the sold out show A Passion for Birmingham for Old Joint Stock Theatre and runs regular weekly acting & directing workshops at The Old Joint Stock Theatre.
