“Old, New, Borrowed, & Blues” by 52nd Street

5 great vocalists from the worlds of musical theatre, rock and jazz. Three girls, two guys, five soaring voices, bringing you music with a jazz twist that is all at once Old, New, Borrowed and Blues. Slick, tight harmonies with a jazz & blues edge, all delivered in a camp-as-Christmas wrapping, with a twinkle in the eye and fierce vocal styling.

Imagine what would happen if The Manhattan Transfer got on a tour bus with The Overtones, and picked up Bette Midler and Liza Minnelli along the way to the gig…

What WE think would happen is slick, tight harmonies with a jazz & blues edge, all delivered in a camp-as-Christmas wrapping, with a twinkle in the eye and fierce vocal styling.

52nd Street are the realisation of that mad pondering: 5 great vocalists from the worlds of musical theatre, rock and jazz. Three girls, two guys, five soaring voices, bringing you music with a jazz twist that is all at once Old, New, Borrowed and Blues.

Catch them at Birmingham Fest before they hit Lakefest, Stanbrooke Abbey, Worcester Guildhall, The Swan Theatre and Treetops Pavilion later in the year.

“We’re delighted to be appearing in this inaugural Birmingham Festival – see you there!”
